These caring professionals have banded together to provide an all inclusive service that assists prospective Green Home Owners realize their dream of owning an Earth and Family Friendly Home in the Greater Austin Area.

Marjory L. Gentsch, MA


Marjory Gentsch is the Broker of Record for Hill Country Green Team. She founded the Hill Country Green Team as a result of her own learning experience researching for, and building her green built house in 1999-2000. She entered the Real Estate profession with the sole purpose of educating professionals and laypersons about the value and importance of Sustainable Development, Construction and Green Building. Thirty years experience as an educator from pre-school through college and adult education as well as educational sales and marketing prepared her well for this transition.

She enjoys working with both Green Buyers and Sellers including Builders and Developers. Her M.A. in Humanistic Psychology gives her an edge when interviewing clients. She helps them clarify and prioritize their needs and wants which makes the process of Buying or Selling infinitely more efficient and effective. She is also dedicated to staying informed of the Green Built properties on the market and their varying levels of performance. Marjory places a high value on clear and effective communication, which makes all the difference for a smooth transaction.

She is dedicated to her clients and also believes in enjoying the journey with them. Simultaneously she attends to all the details throughout negotiations and transactions and has a talent for creative problem solving.

Marjory is currently the Education Chairperson for our local Balcones Chapter of the United States Green Building Council. In that role her responsibility is to provide LEED workshops for Green Building professionals in our area.

Recently, Marjory presented, “Marketing Green Builders and Green Buildings” at the “Sustainable Construction in Texas” seminar in Austin.

Beyrl K. Armstrong has a broad background in the analysis, management, and development of open space land. Beyrl has worked in all phases of land management and development from construction, engineering, and site supervision to restoration planning and implementation for landscape scale wildlife management programs.

As a Registered Property Tax Consultant and co-founder of Plateau Land & Wildlife Management, Beyrl has helped develop and implement a wildlife management process that has successfully helped many landowners manage their land for wildlife while maintaining their open-space tax exemption.

Beyrl is a Realtor with Hill Country Green Team specializing in conservation, recreational and special site properties.

My passion for real estate started in 1979 as a Customer Service Representative for a Title Company. From that point I have worked in Real Estate mediation, marketing, appraisal, lending and currently Brokerage. Having extensive experience in many aspects of Real Estate provides me with a very well rounded skill set to offer my clients.

I was fortunate to have been raised in an environmentally aware household, my father is a biologist. He taught me from childhood how various decisions we make effect our environment. My parents and I attended the first Earth Day Rally in 1970. My EcoBroker certification and commitment to sustainability, Green Building and Development is a natural extension of my values.

My background has prepared me to offer my clients well researched analyses of the Real Estate Market and intelligent recommendations based on experience and expertise. I engage in honest and ethical business practices with clients, colleagues, and all other personnel involved in transactions. Continuing education is exciting for me as I am always exploring new and innovated avenues of serving my clients. Thorough attention to detail and excellent follow-through assures my clients of smooth transactions.
